I was just looking for a clean, reasonably priced hotel and it met the absolute minimum. Old bed, room and furnishings. Nice view of the marina. Had the damp and funky smell of an old hotel room cleaned up as best as possible with minimal restoration funds. Bedroom window faced the hallway as to hear every conversation outside the window. Cleaner rooms at the same price exists.

my wife and i were here may23-may30 ,2010and we had a great vacation!the people in and around harbourgate werevery freindly.there was plenty to do in the area and just down the road from the beach.or if we didnt want to do anything, the view of the marina was tarific. we will deffinately be back!

I have never before received such a poor service in any hotels I noticed there was almost no tissue paper on the rolls in any of the bathroom upon my check in. I made a trip downstairs to inform the front desk to send five rolls, as I did not want to ask for the paper every day and thought this would be sufficient. minutes later I had someone drop by the room and drop off one roll. Latter on that night have returned to the hotel and on the way I have asked for few more rolls. I was told to my surprise that I will not be getting any more because they had delivered five all ready. she showed me a list with my room and had five rolls delivered. I expressed my filings and told the lady its only toilet paper and I will buy my own which is what I had to do because she pointed to the list again and said if its on the list it is what was delivered and they will no longer be making delivery to this room.

We stayed here in ealy December, 2008 and were really pleased with this facility. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was outstanding, excellent views out over the inner coastal waterway, and a great value.
