I have stayed at KIngston Plantation 4 times and have never had any problems util this time. The North Tower is out dated, filthy and has bugs. The room I had also had lights that would not work, TV remote that would not work, a freezer so full of ice it looks like it has never been defrosted and closet doors falling off the track. When I complained I was told they had no rooms available but yet I could find rooms on the internet. I would think twice before booking at the North Tower. Terry B Georgia

We had a two bedroom condo with kitchen and two baths (there were just two of us). A balcony overlooked the pool and ocean. It was beautiful. Everything was great except the water pressure in the shower which was terrible. We stayed in room 502 in the Brighton building. Parking was covered and great. The location in Arcadian Shores was ideal.
Highly recommended. -

Our first room (I think it was 310 Laurel Ct) had multiple cockroaches and palmeto bugs. When I brought this to the hotel's attention as we had a one year old child in the room, they moved us to another room that was suposedly 4 star. It was in the same complex 109 LC, well it still had bugs, it was not as nice as our previous room, the bathroom in the 2nd bedroom shower did not work and I ended up with a double bed instead of a king. I was truly not impressed with the property where we stayed. The other areas of the facility were very nice. I will also suggest that the lazy river area, etc remains open longer as they let us in & then 10 minutes later closed it. I just wanted to let you now we were in town for 8 days & did not experience any bugs at the other locations (a beach house & another hotel down the mb strip) not a one so I believe it was an issue. I would not recommend this location nor would I stay there again unless it was in the main hotel.

we have stayed at several of the kingston plantation buildings and the margate tower was by far the best. it is quite new so i guess it should be but if you travel alot you know that is not always the case. the kingston property has many different developments and it looks like a lot of people actually live there so the grounds/pools are nicely kept up. the security gate at the front is nice and is manned 24/7. the resort is actually between myrtle beach and north myrtle beach so it is easy to get to the many attractions, golf, etc. there is also one of those gigantic walmarts about 10 minutes away. its like descending into about the 10th level of hell to get in and out of that store but you can get everything you need there from wine to suntan lotion! only minor complaint about the resort was the ridiculously long lines at check-in (this has happened multiple times to us at kingston). will definitely stay here again, though.
